What not to miss at the 2019 NFAA Indoor Nationals

The NFAA Indoor Nationals is a championship tournament open to all current NFAA and USA Archery members. The event takes place on March 15-17 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2019, its 39th year.

Archers shoot the NFAA Indoor Round, 60 arrows a day for two days at a single- or five-spot, blue and white target face set at 20 yards.

Late registration ends on March 15, the Friday before the competition starts, so there's still time to secure a space.

*Sunday shooting times will be posted and emailed following the last line on Saturday. Assignments are based on division and Saturday results.

Practice with the Pros

Practice with the Pros is an opportunity for junior shooters under the age of 17 to meet and shoot with their archery heroes before competition at the Indoor Nationals.

This year, the activity will take place from 4pm to 6pm on Friday, March 15. It includes a t-shirt handout, autograph session and time to shoot some arrows.

Archers should register in advance and, depending on numbers, may be split into two shooting lines.

Indoor ProAm

The Indoor ProAm is an opportunity for amateur shooters to compete with top professional archers. Three amateurs will team up with a single professional and will compete in pairs. Cash prizes will be awards to the top 25+ teams.

The 2019 Indoor ProAm will take place at 6:30pm on Friday, March 15 in Hall A/B.

Indoor National Shoot Offs

The shoot offs to decide the NFAA Indoor Nationals Champions in the professional divisions will take place shortly after the last shooting line on Sunday.

Only those shooters with clean scores of 600 with 120Xs after the two days of competition will take part. NFAA will partner with Competition Archery Media to provide the live stream of the finals.

Trade Show

More than 50 renowned archery manufacturers are attending this year's Trade Show at the NFAA Indoor Nationals. It's free to enter for competitors and visitors from 2pm on Thursday, March 14 to 6pm on Sunday, March 17.

Location

The NFAA Indoor Nationals are taking place at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio for the second time in 2019. It's got nearly 200,000 square feet of competition and vendor space.

Covering two blocks, the building is surrounded by multiple hotels and restaurants.

There are over 5,000 parking spaces surrounding the Center in metered street spaces, private flat lots and privately managed garages. The garages offer direct entrance to the Center via Cincinnati's Skywalk System.

The event entrance, registration, practice check-in and main shooting halls are on the first floor Exhibit Hall level in the Convention Center. Bow storage and awards are up on the second floor.
