NFAA Foundation Raffle Offers up to $7,500 in Prizes

The NFAA Foundation is now selling raffle tickets for their 2014 Raffle to benefit the Scholarship and Museum Funds. Tickets are priced at $10 for 1 or $100 for 12. For any questions, contact the NFAA Foundation at 605-260-9282. The Winner will be chosen at the IFAA World Field Championships on August 9, 2014.

Remembering Marihelen Rogers

The National Field Archery Association wishes to extend our sincere condolences to the family of Marihelen Rogers. Marihelen and her husband MJ worked for the NFAA for fifteen years. Representing the NFAA as the Executive Secretary, Editor of Archery Magazine and Tournament and Events Coordinator; Marihelen had a tremendous sense of appreciation for her friends in the archery world.

Big Sky Open: Terhune is 'Smokin Happy'

Grand Junction, CO- “Holding off the wolves” was not in his vocabulary before, but it became apparent the moment he stepped on the line to shoot his first round of competition at the 33rd annual Big Sky Archery Open in Grand Junction, CO June 15, 2013.   It was a definitive moment in time for Jeremy Terhune, from the small town of Rozet, Wyoming.  Terhune had the feeling this weekend definitely belonged to him.

The NFAA recently announced the 2013 Professional and Amateur Shooters of the Year. The winners are determined on the highest combined scores from the following five 2013 NFAA tournaments: The Vegas Shoot, Indoor Nationals, First Dakota Classic, Marked 3D Nationals and Outdoor Nationals.

Easton and NFAA Foundations Award Over $20,000 in Scholarships

Yankton, SD- The Easton Foundations and the National Field Archery Association Foundation are pleased to announce the 2012 Archery Scholarship Recipients. $20,500 in total scholarships was awarded to 14 student athletes in middle school, high school, or higher educational programs. All recipients compete with a compound or recurve bow. The individual scholarships awarded ranged in amounts from $500 to $2,750.

South Dakota National Guard Breaks Ground at NFAA Headquarters

Yankton, SD- The South Dakota Army National Guard completed their two-week Annual Training at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Complex. These summer programs give the National Guard the opportunity to conduct training at various locations to maintain proficiency on the equipment in which they operate.
